Hi Everyone! I am so excited to have you come in for a class. My name is Alyssa Wilen and I have been cooking my entire life. My passion for food comes from a healthy body is a healthy life. All of our classes will help teach that cooking better is not as daunting as you think, and there are plenty of places to find great products in Charlotte. We have 5 different kinds of ability level classes, so there’s something for everyone. I hope to see you in the Kitchen soon!

This event is all about celebrating the community through a fun and healthy lifestyle!

"Building your plate" is your key to success and this comes from whole foods. Chef Alyssa's Kitchen builds their classes around seasonality and local ingredients.
During this demo, Chef Alyssa will walk you through the steps to making a delicious and versatile meal. She will provide recipes, helpful tips when cooking at home, and ways to build flavor so that no meal is ever boring! 
 
Cristina Gillespie's 28toLife is about finding "Real Food Freedom" and a balance with delicious foods. Learn what works for your body and lifestyle. Cristina brings her years of experience in health and fitness, personal journey and transformation to share her concepts for improving your life. 
 
 
 
Join these two ladies for key nutrition information and professional cooking ideas and tips! Samples from local vendors like Savory Spice Shop, Lenny Boy Kombucha and Pour Olive Oil as well as an introduction from fitness professionals including AirFit and Inside-Out-Sports!

 

Menu:
-Crispy skillet roasted chicken with thyme jus 
 
-Carrots with tahini and orange
 
-Fresh local vegetable salad with selection of dressings: 
            -Creamy Mustard 
            -Roasted Lemon 
            -Ginger and Fresh Wasabi
